Hey, Sup everyone? Just wondering what everyone's up to (NE current projects) Im working on a great horror flick, THE KURTISVILLE KILLINGS, it will premiere sometime in late august of early september...Just wondering what everyone is up to.......C-ya everyone

Hi! I been on your website for your new film and it looks pretty kewl!
Anyway I'm currently doing the storyboard for my new animated film (untitled as yet) its basically about a lad who rescues his baby sister from a witch, its gonna be set in the 1600's and I'm kinda going for that Tim Burton "Sleepy Hollow" look. Anyway

Well,
alotta people consider me to be like a young Tim Burton Here's why:

1. My name is Timothy Draven

2. My own personal saying is: Despair Blooms like a night rose, but once in a great while, but when this occurs it is pure beauty

3. I collect many gothic/medeival items (black dragon statues and fountains, barbwire chains, skull props, latex horror masks, etc...)

4. I painted the walls in my room black, and installed a black lightbulb (It makes a very good thinking place, it's where I write all my scripts)

5. I collect latex horror masks

foolmaster, you don't sound like the new Tim Burton, you sound extremely odd. Wait, maybe you are the new Tim Burton.

Anyhow, il postino and I are in pre-production on my first written short entitled "The World in Which We Live" but before that we've shot a "concept" film (ie no script, no shot list, purely a concept) which we're both editing the raw footage (about 2 hours worth) down to 3 mintutes for our own version of the concept. Mines entitled "Day & Night" whilst il postino's is called "South Side" - so far at least.

Should be interesting.

I'm just packing my bags ready to fly out to US tomorrow to shoot my latest short "Black & Blue". Shooting on HDTV if the kit is available; if not then probably a DV shoot.
Its a surreal dark film about a successful affluent businessman trying to commit suicide after becoming the victim of physical abuse from his beautiful wife. 2 week shoot for 15 minutes film.... looks like I'll be mostly sunbathing/burning as I am only the writer.

Okay, Ididnt say that I was the "Next Tim Burton" I just said that people consider it to be this way, I just think I am odd, and a little gothic, depends on how u look at it I guess, c-ya
